How to pick the right one? Narrow down options based on factors such as: 1. features 2. level of protection 3. pro-activity of the company to keep updating it (research - compare reviews)
If your anti-virus was free - research what is missing? Does it run only once a day or real-time (continuously) as you can be attacked at anytime.
